My Name is LTC Stephen V. Williams and I Teach Aerospace Engineering...
I graduated from the University of Georgia in 1971, married my High School Sweetheart, Kathy, and we have two Daughters, two Sons-in-Law and four Grandchildren.
I am a retired USAF/GaANG Lt. Colonel, Fighter Pilot and Instructor Pilot (20 years) as well as a retired Northwest Airlines Captain, Flight and Simulator Instructor and FAA Designated Flight Examiner (29 years).
I am also a Lt. Colonel in the Civil Air Patrol.
I have over 15 years of Teaching and Instructing Experience in the USAF and at Northwest Airlines (now Delta Airlines), and over 15,000 hours of flight time in the T-37, T-38 Talon, F-100 Super Sabre, F-105G “Wild Weasel”, F-4 “Phantom II, F-15 “Eagle”, SWM II Metroliner, DC-9, B-757, and the A-320.
I am VERY EXCITED about our Aerospace Engineering Program (an integral part of the Center for Technology and Engineering at CMS) and I look forward to a another great year with our Students!!!
